Hey Everyone,
I was sick over the weekend so I did not get to give a prize. Instead the deadline will be this Thursday. If you need 1 more day please let me know. Anyways I decided I would share a story I came up with. The story is called A New Friend. The story begins in the streets of Chicago, a girl named Amanda was visiting her father with her teenage brother, Matt, Her parents are not divorced instead their mother is dead. They have been living in New York City. During the summer they would go to California to live with their aunt and uncle and cousins. But now they would be living in Chicago instead of New York City until her brother is done with college that is. Amanda never made any friends or had any, no one liked her, no one talked to her, no one would even sit at lunch with her, but now that they moved Chicago to live with their dad, she would get a new start, a new beginning, a second chance, and no one would be mean to her because they don’t know her. Now you will read about what she is doing, Amanda! Where are you? Come on we can’t be late, sorry Matt I was just.. Doing what! Drawing? No maybe you were daydreaming come on we have to go my train leaves in 10 minutes and I have to get you to dad´s apartment are you coming? All right I am coming. They walked to the apartment and went inside where they saw a man wearing a business suit and holding a cup of Coffee. And then Matt said Dad we are here and the man in the business suit turned around and hugged them and tears were coming from his eyes. And he said welcome to our home or well your new home. What happens I can't tell you once I figure out then I will tell you.
