With the Fire on High

Hello! I read this book a few months ago, this book was the best. I loved it so much! It's about a high school student named Emoni Santiago, she had a kid when she was a freshman. She has to make decisions that will help her kid and her grandmother. But in the kitchen, she can forget everything, in the kitchen she's on fire, she makes food just like magic. She then takes a cooking class at school, she's offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Spain. Will she take it or will she stay?? Read the book to find out!

I enjoyed this book because I like to bake and so does the main character which was nice. And I also like the fact that even though a lot of things were happening she still managed to reach for her dreams and make them come true.

I recommend this book to people who love to cook and like reading books whose setting is in high school. Also I recommend this book to people who like to read. 📚
